Privacy Policy for ApartmentMaid

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how APARTMENTMAIDCO LLC ('ApartmentMaid') collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the ApartmentMaid mobile application, website, and related services.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: First name, last name, email address, phone number, and profile photo.
Service Address Information: Service address, apartment number, city, state, ZIP code.
Booking Information: Cleaning preferences, service instructions, booking history, and subscription information.
Payment Information: Billing address, transaction status, voluntary gratuity (tip) amounts, and subscription status. Full card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by ApartmentMaid.
Location Information: Precise location may be used to autofill addresses, validate service areas, and improve booking accuracy. Location access is optional. Users may manually enter a service address if location permissions are denied or revoked.
Customer Support Information: Support messages, uploaded photos, image attachments, and voluntary voice messages submitted through Intercom.
Photo Information: Users may upload profile photographs and may voluntarily provide images through customer support communications.
Device & Analytics Information: Device identifiers, push notification tokens, usage information, and diagnostic information.
Review Information: Ratings, reviews, comments, and other feedback voluntarily submitted by customers regarding services received through the Platform.
3. Authentication Services
Users may sign in using Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, Email OTP, Phone OTP, or secure email magic links.
4. How We Use Your Information
To create and manage accounts, schedule services, process payments, provide support, communicate booking updates, improve services, detect fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
We use ratings, reviews, and feedback to evaluate service quality, improve our services, conduct internal analytics and performance reporting, identify trends, train and monitor service quality, and, with appropriate privacy safeguards, display customer reviews and testimonials on the Platform and in promotional materials.
5. Communications and Marketing
Service communications may include booking confirmations, cleaner assignments, reminders, subscription updates, support communications, and account notices.
Marketing communications may include promotions, discounts, special offers, and re-engagement campaigns. Users may opt out where applicable.
Push notifications may include transactional and promotional notifications.
6. How We Share Information
ApartmentMaid does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with assigned cleaning professionals and service providers including Stripe, Intercom, Customer.io, Twilio, Firebase, Google Maps, authentication providers, and other operational vendors.
Customer ratings and reviews may be displayed on the Platform or other ApartmentMaid marketing channels. When displayed publicly, ApartmentMaid may limit or anonymize personal information at its discretion.
7. Data Security
Security measures include HTTPS/TLS encryption, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and secure authentication mechanisms. No system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention and Account Deletion
Users may delete their account directly from the Profile section of the ApartmentMaid application.
Account deletion is unavailable while active bookings are scheduled or in progress. Users must complete or cancel active bookings before deletion can proceed.
Upon deletion, personal information is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Access to the account is permanently removed and subscription auto-renewal is cancelled.
Historical booking, transaction, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, audit, and legal records may be retained in anonymized form where permitted or required by law.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Users may access, update, correct, or delete account information through the application or by contacting booking@apartmentmaid.co.
10. California Privacy Rights
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, and request deletion of personal information. ApartmentMaid does not sell personal information.
11. International Data Processing
Customer data is primarily stored in the United States.
12. Children's Privacy
ApartmentMaid is intended for individuals capable of entering service agreements and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
